100 Years of Naval Aviation May 2-8

This coming week in Pensacola we will be celebrating 100 years of Naval Aviation.

Check out the website Celebrate Flight.
The schedule of events for the coming week can be found here.

The Blue Angels will be performing and will be accompanied by some other notable aircraft.

For those that don't know Pensacola is the home of Naval Aviation and also home to the National Naval Aviation Museum. If you haven't visited or haven't visited recently this could be the time to.

One of the best spots for viewing the Blue Angels with be on the South side of NAS. You can refer to the website or the diagram to the left. The area marked "Viewing Area"

Pensacola's Naval Aviation tradition goes all the way back to 1914. In January of that year a aviation unit was stationed in Pensacola. In April 1914 a flying school was formed and by November command was moved ashore and was officially designated Naval Aeronautic Station, Pensacola. In December 1917 NAS became a Naval Air Station.

Paradise Limousine salutes all Naval Aviators and all those that have stood beside them. And just remember, we're here with YOUR limo if you need to take the group out or you just want to make the moment a memorable one.
